Pastoral Care Training Class Winter|Spring 2024

Scripture is filled with examples of men and women who God used to love, lead and comfort others in times of trouble. The pastoral class is a ten-week training designed to inform and enhance your God-given desire to be more effective in entering into the many faceted experiences of brokenness. This class will provide information and application in areas of the theology of suffering, therapeutic communication, grief and loss, trauma informed care and empathic engagement. The class will be facilitated by our pastoral care team and guest speakers who work in full-time chaplaincy and counseling. If you have the desire to companion with the hurting in a wide range of difficult circumstances, this class is for you!
