Get Help

Christmas & New Year's Manna Hours:

Manna Care food pantry is closed on December 24 and 31. We will reopen for appointments on Jan 7 from 9-11:30a.

How can we support you?

We know that life comes with deep hardship and struggle. We hope our team can listen and offer hope, healing, and help to the hurting spaces.

Prayer and worship were central to the early church and it is central to us at Cherry Hills. Our prayer team is committed to contending with you for God’s breakthrough in your life and we also have opportunities to get involved in the prayer ministry to pray with and for others.

I NEED PRAYER

If you need general, healing, or breakthrough prayer from someone in our ministry, please CLICK HERE. If you attend in person, you may receive prayer after each service at Trailhead, located in the back right corner of the Worship Center.

POST-SERVICE PRAYER MINISTRY TEAM

Our prayer ministry is committed to serving people through prayer. We’d love to have you join this fantastic team and be on a monthly rotation offering prayer support to our congregation after each of our weekend services.

I’M INTERESTED

Brokenness is something we all face. Sometimes it results from our decisions, like an addiction or anger. Other times our brokenness comes from the actions of others, like abuse or co-dependency. Sometimes it’s the result of the brokenness of this world, like infertility, illness, or grief. Wherever it comes from, we all have to navigate brokenness at some point. You don’t have to walk this road alone. We are here to help you heal.

RE:GENERATION

Re:generation is 12-step discipleship through recovery. By working through these biblical steps within an authentic community, people have found freedom from substance abuse, codependency, pornography, eating disorders, depression, fear, control, emotional/physical abuse, same-sex attraction, anger, obsessive thoughts, and many other personal struggles. Re:generation is a safe place for anyone to process questions and doubts honestly. We pray that you will find the same peace that we have found. God loves you. He wants to heal you and has a plan for you.

Re:generation meets on Wednesday nights from 6:15-8p.

COUNSELING

Life can be challenging. Relationships, stress, conflict, anxiety, and loss are all areas where counseling can be helpful. As a church, we want to help you walk through difficult times and grow positively. The Pastoral Care ministry at Cherry Hills offers a fee-based, highly professional, and comprehensive Referral Counseling Ministry. This referral ministry will include carefully vetted offsite counselors that serve all ages, from young children to seniors; individuals, marriages, and families; recovery and addictions; spiritual, mental, and emotional challenges; and other life needs.

Don’t hesitate to contact Brett Garretson at 303.325.8236 or bgarretson@chcc.org for referrals and counseling questions.

We believe in comforting those who mourn–being present with families who have lost a loved one and, at the appropriate time, sharing the journey through a grief support group.

MEMORIAL SERVICES AND FUNERALS

Our staff of experienced pastors will meet privately with you and your family to create a meaningful service to remember, honor and celebrate your loved one’s life while imparting the hope of heaven and its promises to the deceased and survivors. A service coordinator will assist you with the details necessary to create a meaningful experience for your family and loved ones. Our most important goal is serving you and your family during significant loss.

MEMORIAL GARDEN

Cherry Hills Community Church is dedicated to serving the members of our congregation and community at every stage of life. The Memorial Garden enables us to minister to those who desire a place close to their home and church where loved ones can be remembered. Throughout Christian history, it has been commonplace for people to be interred or inurned on church grounds. The Memorial Garden will accept cremated remains in Niches or a Communal Urn. The Dixon Chapel Arcade also contains a Wall of Remembrance to memorialize loved ones who are buried or inurned elsewhere.

Manna Connect

Manna Connect is a personal development program that provides participants with community, coaching, and career skill advancement as they identify and overcome barriers to self-sufficiency and wholeness. Their unique career and community development model aims to rebuild the societal base surrounding our neighbors, creating more integrated communities and developing pathways out of poverty through meaningful careers. Where most work focuses on the problems accompanying poverty, they are person-centered, employing an integrated approach to unleash inherent strengths and break the barriers in individuals between them and the self-sufficiency they desire. Rather than provide temporary aid, their development model creates sustainable independence. You can learn how you can play a part below.

Manna Connect is the core program of the Manna Resource Center, an organization serving individuals and families in south Denver.

Manna Rescue

Rescue America exists to rescue, revive and empower the sexually exploited through a 24/7 hotline and emergency response—Cherry Hills partners with Rescue America as an Outreach Hub. We meet the last Monday of the month as Outreach Advocates to call numbers from online sex ads and offer a message of hope and a safe opportunity to exit their life through our 24/7 hotline. These interpersonal exchanges have proven to be one of the most educational, profound, and impactful services – both for the volunteer and the victims.

Bible Engagement

Reflecting on the meaning of Scripture for your life is the most spiritually catalytic thing you can do. We have provided links and resources to dive into Bible Engagement through reading plans, commentaries, and other tools.
The 4Rs - Scripture Meditation Method

Read

Read a passage of Scripture that is 1-3 chapters in length. The size of the passage is essential to understand the context of the message. Write down the passages you read.

Research

At the end of the passage, look for the verse that stood out most to you. Write that down. Re-read the verse and the verses surrounding it. Read material provided in a Study Bible or commentary on the passage. You might run a search online to read other opinions of the text. Record what you learned in this section.

Reflect

Meditate on the verse allowing it to soak into you. Meditation consists of reflective thinking, or contemplation, of the passage to discern its meaning or significance. The goal is to internalize and personalize the passage so that its truth can affect how you think, your attitude, and, ultimately, your actions. Note what the Holy Spirit is bringing up.

Respond

Pray and ask God, “What do you want me to do? How do you want me to live differently because of this?” Allow God to give you the one thing you are to do today. Write this tangible action step down, and apply it to your life.
