Men’s Basketball

Thursdays, October 7 – May 30, 7:00p
Room 190 (Gym)

The basketball ministry is a time for men who love basketball and Jesus to get together. We start with about 5-10 minutes worth of a devotional, and prayer requests, and then we ball it up for a couple hours. In between games guys have a chance to get to know each other better on the side lines and build relationships.

Thursdays, 7:00 – 8:30p

English is the bridge to opportunity. Come learn or improve your English. All levels from beginner to advanced intermediate taught by experienced teachers. Free except the cost of the book ($10-20). Start anytime.

January 22 – Jeff Rosenau – Words make the man!

Jeff is founder and president of the ministry, Christlike Dialogue. For 25 years, Jeff has been teaching biblical principles to prepare Christians to engage in conversations that honor God so that we represent Jesus well through the words we speak. He is the author of Building Bridges Not Walls, When Christians Act Like Christians, and Christlike Dialogue, a 10-week small group study. He has shared at numerous churches and parachurch organizations, with Christian lawyers, educators, business leaders, internationally with law students in South Korea and church leaders in Brazil.

Men’s 70+ Bible Study

Thursdays, 2:30p
Room 226 (Conference room above Atrium)

We study in detail books from the Bible. We are currently studying Paul’s Letters in the New Testament. We supplement these studies with videos from Focus on the Families, “The Truth Project” and other related subjects. We welcome all Senior Men who are interested in a comprehensive study of the Bible and it’s characters.
