The 55+ ministry is a place for people to come together to build supporting friendships, enjoy fun activities and events, and gain insights for building our relationship with God. Events vary each month of the year.

We are single men and women in the halftime of life who are actively pursuing a relationship with Jesus and meaningful connection with one another. Whether you’ve never married, are divorced, or are widowed, you’re invited to be part of a warm and welcoming community. Our group gathers offsite throughout the month to share meals, go hiking or bike riding, enjoy dancing, and connect through game nights, movie nights, and serving others. We’re about growing in faith, building friendships, and having fun along the way. Come see if this is the place for you!

This group is for adults who are dating, engaged, married, or thinking of becoming a blended family. The environment promotes openness, authenticity, and transparency, allowing blended families to pray and walk through difficult seasons. The curriculum is video-based with a book guide and discussion time. Due to the meeting occurring in someone’s home, childcare is not provided.

The Breast Cancer Support Group meets on the second Wednesday of each month and offers a warm, encouraging space to connect with others who understand. Together, we share our stories, hopes, and challenges while supporting one another through every step of the journey. Each meeting includes helpful information, uplifting conversation, and the strength that comes from walking this path together.

The Chain Breakers Connect Group is a non-judgmental, safe place for anyone seeking to rebuild their lives. We believe the church should lead the way in loving and caring for those who have been impacted by incarceration, addiction, or homelessness. We are all about real, authentic community, where relationships turn into lasting friends. Come join us as we learn and grow together in the Lord and watch the Holy Spirit change lives and eternities.

“Cultivate: All Ages & Stages” is a multigenerational Connect Group where individuals and families from every season of life come together to grow in faith and community. Whether you’re young or young at heart, single, married, raising kids, or enjoying grandkids, there’s a place for you here. We believe spiritual growth is enriched through shared experiences, diverse perspectives, and meaningful relationships across generations. Together, we’ll cultivate deeper roots in God’s Word and in each other—encouraging one another as we walk out our faith, side by side.

Starting on September 15, this 6-week class will examine 6 major developments in the history of Christianity in America since 1619. These developments – or streams – will help us to better understand the current cultural context of Christianity in the United States and recognize it’s unique contribution to the history of the church.

Scott’s Bio: Scott Wenig is professor emeritus of Applied Theology at Denver Seminary where he served on the faculty for 30 years. He has a PhD in the history of Early Modern England (CU Boulder) where he focused on the study of the English Reformation (1521-1603). Scott loves pastoral ministry, preaching, church history, and especially his wife, Melanie! He is grateful for the ongoing kingdom impact of Cherry Hills Community Church over the decades and is honored to teach here.

Family Foundations is a Connect Group for parents of infants through elementary-aged children, designed to support you in the joys and challenges of both marriage and parenting. Together, we’ll explore what it means to grow in faith as a family—deepening our relationship with the Lord while learning to lead our homes with love, grace, and intention. Through honest conversation, biblical encouragement, and shared experiences, we aim to build a fun, vibrant community where families can thrive and grow together.

Grand Central is a Connect Group for grandparents and seasoned adults in a meaningful stage of life—reflecting on God’s faithfulness and leaving a legacy of faith. We look forward to doing life together: being a blessing, bearing a torch, setting a standard, and living out our third calling with purpose. These time-honored values shape who we are, how we live, and how we grow and serve together. Grand Central is a warm, faith-filled community where generations are impacted through wisdom, connection, and purpose.

Her Story, His Grace is a women’s Bible study group where women from all walks of life come together to experience God’s love, healing, and transformation. Though our stories may be different, we are united by the grace of Jesus Christ and the hope found in Him. Through Bible study, prayer, and authentic fellowship, we share how God meets us in our struggles, restores our hearts, and continues to write a beautiful story of redemption in each of our lives. This is a safe and welcoming place where women can grow in faith, find support, and discover that no past is too broken for God’s grace to redeem.

No matter where you’re from, across the globe or across the street, there’s something powerful about coming together through the things we all love: food, music, culture, family, and celebration. We celebrate the beautiful complexity of life and relationships, offering a space for real conversations, spiritual growth, and authentic community. Whether you’re navigating single life, co-parenting, remarriage, or anything in between, you belong here.

Join us for this four-week class as we use the Prepare & Enrich assessment to discover your relationship’s strengths and opportunities for growth. Couples will complete the online assessment before the first class ($35 per couple) and receive practical, personalized insights to help strengthen their marriage. Whether you’re engaged, newly married, or have been married for several years, this class is a great opportunity to invest in your relationship. Access to the assessment will be provided after you register.

Married Life is a Connect Group designed for couples who are married, newly married, or engaged. Whether you’re just starting your journey or have been walking it for years, this class offers a welcoming space to grow closer to God and to each other. Through Scripture, honest conversation, and table discussion, we’ll explore what it means to build a Christ-centered relationship and a strong foundation for the future. Join us as we build friendships, strengthen our marriages, and do life together in a supportive and faith-filled community.

Participants will need to purchase the online Precept Ministries Workbook of Ephesians prior to class (In & Out Workbook, ESV Translation, $22.99). Additional information will be sent out to all registrants a week prior to the class.

The Military Support Community focuses on prayer, support, and fellowship for our current and past military members and their extended families. We host a lunch gathering four times per year in the Fireside Room from 11:45 to 1:30p. All are welcome!

Mosaics is a group for widowed women of all ages and faith backgrounds who support each other in this season of life. We have additional social gatherings off campus throughout the month.

Path of the Prodigal Parent is a 6-week, Biblically based study group, beginning Tuesday, September 15-October 20, from 6:15-8 pm in the Orchard Room in the Dixon Chapel. The study group is designed to educate and support parents, grandparents, siblings, blended families, and other caring adults who are experiencing emotional turmoil and chronic heartbreak from an adult child who may be oppositional, emotionally unstable, living in rebellion or sin, and/or have gone no contact. Fellowship with others in a safe environment. Come away with tools to not only strengthen your faith, but also learn how to cope through this raw emotional experience.

Practicing the Way is a nonprofit founded by John Mark Comer and others which provides resources to churches, small groups and followers of Jesus to draw closer and live in alignment with Jesus’ life through following the practices which Jesus modeled during his time on the Earth. These practices have been followed by his disciples, or apprentices, for over two thousand years and they can help us to draw closer to him as well. These include things like Scripture, Solitude, Prayer, Fasting, Generosity and more.

During this four-week series (September 16, 23, 30, & October 7), we will focus on the Practice of Generosity.  When Jesus said there is more joy in giving than in receiving, he turned our vision of the good life on its head. Through the practice of generosity, we tap into God’s joy, find freedom from greed through contentment, and embody God’s concern for those in need.

This group meets on Tuesday evenings from 6p to 7p in room 225 (Fireside) for a time of praise and intercession.

Study how people can be prepared to meet their God, and your heart can be stirred to proclaim the warning with hope for those who heed it.

These classes are designed to equip you with inductive study tools so that you can discover truth for yourself. September 15 – September 29: Lesson 1 to be discussed on the first day of class.

Prime Life is a Connect Group for those navigating life’s transitions, whether you’re an empty nester, approaching retirement, or are already retired, or simply stepping into a new season. We believe God is always doing a new thing, and the “prime” of your life is filled with purpose, potential, and impact. In this class, we’ll explore how to discover, embrace, and live out your God-given purpose while growing in faith and building meaningful friendships. Join us as we walk together in community, encourage one another, and pursue all that God has for us in this vibrant stage of life.

We all experience brokenness in life. At re:generation, we believe that anyone can experience new life and freedom by working through steps of healing given to us by God through the Bible. Re:generation is 12-step discipleship through recovery. By working through these biblical steps within an authentic community, people have found freedom from substance abuse, codependency, pornography, eating disorders, depression, fear, control, emotional/physical abuse, unwanted attraction, anger, obsessive thoughts and many other personal struggles.

Re:generation is a safe place for men and women to honestly process questions and doubts. Our prayer is that you will find the same peace that we have found. Everyone is welcome. God loves you. He wants to heal you and has a plan for you.

Rooted & Raising is a connect group for parents who desire to be rooted in their faith and passionate about raising the next generation with purpose and truth. Designed for those parenting kids from 5th grade through high school, this group offers biblical wisdom, honest conversation, and practical encouragement for navigating the challenges and joys of faith-filled parenting. Grow deeper. Lead stronger. Raise well.

Tapestry – Women of all ages woven together in community and Bible Study. The study will begin on September 15 and run until November 17.

The book of Joshua chronicles God’s continuing faithfulness to fulfill His covenant promises to Abraham. It is a book of transitions, in which Joshua rises to leadership and the people of God step across the Jordan into the long-awaited land of promise. The task of possessing the land will test the limits of their strength and their courage, but God’s covenant will not fail them. And Joshua’s faithful example will whisper toward the perfect faithfulness of Christ Himself. In this 10-session, verse-by-verse study of the book of Joshua, Jen Wilkin helps us see how God’s commands, though sometimes difficult, are always rooted in His steadfast love for His people. Israel’s story is our story. We battle not against flesh and blood as they did, but we courageously war against the temptations of the world, the flesh, and the devil, trusting in the finished work of the true and better Joshua, Jesus Christ.

Tender Warriors is a group of volunteer men of Cherry Hills Community Church. We are dedicated to answering God’s call to help and care for our church’s widows and other CHCC members who may not have the physical ability or financial resources to pay for some limited services.  Each project is limited to a one-time event no longer than 2-3 hours.  The leader of Tender Warriors will evaluate each project to determine if it falls within the scope of our Mission Statement. All proposed projects must first be screened by the leadership of the Mosaic Ladies and/or others in church leadership.

If life seems to be moving faster than ever, it’s because it often does. In this study, however, we’ll slow down, take time to reflect, and enjoy camping through the book of Philippians. This letter is filled with gratitude, encouragement, challenge, and practical wisdom for everyday life. As we journey through it together, we’ll grow in keeping our confidence in Jesus—rather than in ourselves, other people, or our circumstances. Along the way, we’ll discover more of the lasting joy and peace that come only through trusting God.

Our Ministry Team, Nancy Grisham, will serve as our teacher, and Caylyn Nelson will lead the coordination of our ministry. Most importantly, YOU will play a vital role by sharing what God is teaching you through His Word. As we learn from one another, we’ll encourage each other in our faith and grow together in our walk with Christ.

Thrive is a Connect Group designed to help you grow deep roots in God’s Word and flourish in your daily life. Inspired by Psalm 1, we explore what it means to be like a tree planted by streams of water—nourished, steadfast, and bearing fruit in every season. Whether you’re new to faith or looking to grow stronger, Thrive offers a welcoming space to dig into Scripture, find encouragement, and walk in God’s wisdom together during the encore years of life!
