Recovery

Brokenness is something we all face.

Sometimes it is the result of decisions we have made like an addiction or anger. Other times our brokenness comes from the actions of others like abuse or co-dependency. Sometimes it’s the result of the brokenness of this world like infertility, illness or grief. Wherever it comes from, brokenness is something we all have to navigate at some point.

Recovery at Cherry Hills is ready to walk by your side through brokenness. Our ministry is specially designed to help you discover the grace of the Gospel in the midst of your struggles. You don’t have to walk this road alone. Whether it’s an addiction, pornography, anger, illness, infertility or anything in between, we are here to help you heal.

re|engage

Would you rate your marriage as a 2 or a 10? Maybe even a 0? You are not alone. Whether your marriage needs to be reignited, or is in need of a complete resurrection, re|engage is a safe place for married couples to reconnect. re|engage examines God’s design for marriage and applies biblical principles to help married couples move toward oneness. re|engage offers hope and encouragement to marriages through stories of grace, teaching, and small groups.

We would love for you to join us on any Wednesday night you are available, 6:15 – 8:00 p.m. starting in the Dixon Chapel Sanctuary. Since we are an on-going and open ministry, there is no need to register beforehand. You can begin the re|engage process at anytime. Childcare is available each week, including care for infants.

Please note that re|engage will NOT meet the following dates in 2018:  June 6, July 4, August 8, November 21, December 19, December 26.

Re:Generation

We’re all broken. Whether your brokenness is the result of your own decisions, the decisions of others or the general brokenness of the world, Re:generation is a safe place for you to personally heal and grow from the hurts, habits or addictions that are holding you back. Re:generation is an authentic community that uses the 12-steps as a guide for discipleship, healing, recovery and freedom. We begin each week with worship and a large group teaching. On your first night, join our Newcomers group for more information on the program and to meet others who are on the journey with you.

During Midweek, participants in Re:Generation are encouraged to attend the full experience:

  • Worship 6:15-6:40p
  • Large Group 6:45-7p
  • Small Group 7-8p
    • Gender-specific open share groups (various private rooms)
    • 12-Step transformation groups (various private rooms)

Shelter

Shelter is a safe place for women who have been sexually abused/assaulted to share their experiences and begin a healing process. Betrayal. Shame. Fear. Guilt. Loneliness. The feelings that stem from the trauma of sexual abuse/assault can be devastating. Shelter offers hope and healing along the journey from victim to survivor to thriver. The support, care and tools you’ll find in this group will enable you to navigate the storms of life. Free childcare provided. Wednesdays, 6:15-8p.
