Highpoint Summit

Info:

We are taking Summit to a whole new level this year at Golden Bell Camp! This weekend is for all RISING grades 9 – 12 students, and will be filled with fun competitions, community, and worship and teaching sessions. Sign up early to reserve your spot at the lowest price!

PRICING STRUCTURE
$240 | April 23 – May 20 (FREE Summit Shirt when you sign up during these dates!)

STUDENT REGISTRATION

 

I am a Christian and would like to request scholarship.

 

I don’t consider myself a Christian at the time and would like to apply for the ONE Life Scholarship.

 

LUGGAGE:
You will need to pack all of your items in no more than 1 piece of luggage (bedding is provided at camp, NO sleeping bag/pillow is needed).

DEPARTURE:
We will be meeting at the Student Ministry entrance of Cherry Hills on Friday, July 27, at 8a. We will have check-in between 8 and 8:30a. You MUST be checked in by 8:30a. After a short meeting we will board the vehicles and depart immediately. Because we’d like to get on the road as quickly as possible, you must be on time!

RETURN:
We will be returning around 5:30p on Sunday, July 29 to Cherry Hills. We will all be attending Highpoint at 6p right after camp!

FOOD:
On Friday, please eat before checking in or bring breakfast with you to eat at Cherry Hills or on the busses. We will not be providing breakfast, but WILL provide lunch at Golden Bell. Eat and drink well throughout the trip. We will feed you plenty of good food. Stay well hydrated. Limit your personal junk food intake. You can bring extra cash for vending machines and snack bars while we are at Golden Bell.

BRING:
Clothes (plan for warm weather) Comfortable shoes
Light jacket or sweatshirt Undergarments
Personal items (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, bath towel, etc.) Modest sleepwear
Sandals, beach towel, modest swimsuit (one piece for the ladies, no speedos for the boys) Sunscreen, sunglasses, chapstick
Swag that is your team’s color! (More info about this below)
Bible, pen, paper
Money (optional for snacks & Highpoint Swag)
Watch or alarm clock (optional – but highly recommended since we have a no cell phone policy) Camera (optional)

DON’T BRING:
Alcohol, drugs, tobacco, weapons, iPods, or video game players, or other electronics. Any violation of these or other guidelines may result in the student being sent home from our trip on train or bus at the parent’s expense.

SLEEPING:
We will spend all of our nights in cabins at Golden Bell in Manitou Springs, CO. There is no need to bring an air mattress or sleeping pad, the mattresses at Golden Bell are very nice. We will always separate girls/guys sleeping areas, but we do require modest clothing be worn to bed. We will have specific bed times each night and will hold to these strictly so we are well rested in the midst of a full schedule.

TEAM DAY:
We will have team competitions during camp, so we strongly encourage everyone to pack clothing in their team color. Mt. Massive = yellow, Tabeguache = green, Bross = purple and Little Bear = Blue. Bring facepaint, crazy socks, wigs, hats, shirts, shorts, tights, shoes- we go all out!

SUN & HEAT:
It can get hot during our trip and you will experience a lot of exposure to the sun. Be ready for it. Drink a lot of water. Although we would all like to come back with a tan, a sunburn will ruin your experience. Wear sunscreen at all times!
