If you, or a friend, need financial assistance to attend Collide VBS please fill out the linked scholarship form. We can not guarantee to reward scholarships to everyone who applies and generally do not offer full scholarships. We will take each application in to careful consideration.
Student Safety, Our #1 Priority:
The safety of our students is always our first priority when planning any event. The following steps are just some of the ways we do our best to provide a safe experience for everyone.
What age does my child have to be to participate in Collide VBS?
Ages 3 (as of June 2018) through Grade 5. (NOTE: all three year olds must be potty trained and be out of pull-ups during the day)
If I volunteer for the entire week, can my children under age 3 participate in Collide VBS?
Yes, if you volunteer for the entire week, you may register your children under age three in Collide Nursery Care (babies-age 2).
What if my child has allergies?
Please indicate their allergies on the registration form.
What time do I drop them off and pick them up?
Drop off is between 5:45 and 6:00p at the location specified on the confirmation card they will receive via email one week prior to Collide VBS. Pick up is promptly at 8:30p at the same location as drop off. Please note: we will not allow parents into the building until all children are in their correct pick-up location. This is to ensure the safety of all children. Preschool will start pick up 15 minutes earlier at 8:15p.
What if I have to pick up my child early?
Please check in at the School Lobby Desk, where we will be able to pinpoint your child’s current location. A leader will help your child collect their belongings and escort them to the School Lobby to meet you. Only a designated person indicated on the registration form can pick up your child.
What if my child has an allergy to a snack?
Our team does their best to serve snacks that most children and adults would not be allergic to. Gluten free options will also be available. If your child has more extensive allergies, we suggest you send a snack with him/her.
Are there medical personnel on location?
Yes, we have medical personnel on location at all times.
If I volunteer, do I have to work every night?
Yes, although if you have to miss one night for an emergency, you are expected to let your coordinator know.
What if my child has two friends that they would like to be with?
Due to the large number of children that attend Collide VBS, we can only honor one friend request.
What if my child can’t be there each night?
We understand that sometimes it is hard to make every night. Please just let their small group leader know the first night.
