Technical Media Coordinator: Family Ministries

This position shall oversee the production and coordination of technical media in the Family Ministry department. Specific emphasis includes technical media support and production planning for frontline ministry personnel. This position also requires development and management of volunteer technical production teams comprised of both teens and adults.

This is a part-time position, 20 hours per week including:

  • Sunday: 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Thursday: 5-9 p.m.
  • Two week days: 1-5 p.m.
  • Occasional evenings and Saturdays required as needed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the weekly technical operation of all Family Ministry venues, primarily Sunday morning & Wednesday evenings.
  • Overseeing technical needs for special events.
  • Recruiting, training, cultivating and overseeing rotational Technical Ministry Teams.
  • Maintaining and developing A/V and technical systems for Family Ministry production venues.

To be considered for this position candidates should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to recruit, cultivate and lead volunteer teams.
  • Strong understanding of computer and A/V technical systems and their operational components.
  • Knowledge of set and prop construction methods. (a plus)
  • Proven understanding of theatrical and media production. (a plus)
  • Strong Biblical knowledge and understanding of evangelical culture and community.

Pastor to Seniors

The qualified candidate will coordinate, pastor and lead the Senior Adult Ministry at Cherry Hills.

This is a part-time position with varying hours not to exceed 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Shepherding and leading the Gathering Place class.
  • Coordination of curriculum and teaching schedule.
  • Visitation to the ill or homebound.
  • Teach a minimum of once per month.
  • Assess the unique needs of seniors at Cherry Hills and respond with an action plan.

To be considered for this position candidates should have:

  • Professional biblical training and teaching experience.
  • Proven ability to minister to senior adults.
  • The ability to lead people and manage events.
  • Basic computer competency.

Wild Blue Coffee
Back of House Food Specialist

This position is responsible for the back of house daily operations, food preparation, catering and special event food needs.

This is a part-time, temporary, position, early weekday mornings Monday-Thursday, 12 hours per week.

The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • preparing all food products
  • inventory control and supervision of food supplies
  • cleaning and maintaining all back of house equipment
  • customer service experience in a café, or restaurant environment is strongly preferred

Special Services Bus Driver

Special service bus drivers carry passengers from city to city, state to state. Working according to timetables and planned routes supporting church events.

This is an on call, as needed position, hours and days will vary.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Driving bus carefully and in compliance with traffic regulations.
  • Assuming responsibility for the safety of passengers in loading, unloading and transporting to and from destination.
  • Instructing passengers in safety precautions and practices.

All qualified applicants must:

  • Have regular vision in both eyes.
  • Cannot be a diabetic on insulin or have any other physical limitation that might affect safe operation of any vehicle.
  • Have a current State of Colorado Commercial driver’s license and original Social Security card with same last name on both.
  • Have verifiable driving experience.
  • Have a good driving record. No DUI conviction in past fifteen (15) years.
  • Provide a copy of Diploma or GED.
